The African Investor is a Women’s March–inspired convening that brings together the African diaspora, investors, founders, and ecosystem leaders to reimagine how Africa’s growth is accelerated — honoring the important role of charity while expanding the conversation to include strategic investment, entrepreneurship, and long-term economic opportunity.

The event recognizes individuals and allies doing transformative work across the continent to support women’s financial independence, not through awards, but through storytelling and collective visibility that uplifts their leadership, innovation, and impact. Centering women as high-potential entrepreneurs, innovators, and value creators — and encouraging African women investors to support and invest in one another — the gathering explores how intentional capital, mentorship, and cross-border collaboration can unlock generational wealth, catalyze markets, and strengthen communities.
